Activity 3 - video Critique
Global Wealth Ineqaulity
I selected this short video becuse I felt it was a great introduction into wealth inequality.
It highlighted important statistics and information I was unaware of such as the fact that the 1% richest in the world share more wealth aming themselves than others in the world.
It also highlighted and compared the United States where a large amount of disparities occur with the world. 80% of the wprld hardly have any wealth, while the richest 2 percent have more than half of the worlds wealth.
It also mentioned aid, in the sense that rich countries attempt to make up for the disparities via aid to poor countries, which I thought was intruiging.
I believe this will also be a great resource tool for me in future.
